This project, apparently very simple, hides some very important details from an emotional and religious point of view. The eight fissures, grooved on south elevation, recall  the number 8, sacred to Christianity, a symbol of the resurrection and of the mediation union between the Earth and the Sky, between God and man and vice versa (the infinite is also represented, victory and Karma)

This project has eight signs set on a vertical surface, representing the grooves carved by the tears marking a face in moments of loss, but also in moments of joy and hope (close to the eight grooves in the upper part there are see-thru holes protected by a glass, that let the light from above passing inside the newsstand illuminate the inside.

Tears, as well as smiles and wrinkles, mark a face, and are a part of life, the earthly death is part of eternal life. This monument will be constructed with simple (but eternal) concrete. White concrete and marble sand

This building will be created by sorting the inert material to be bonded to white cement, marble dust and sand. Marble is a natural element and a common material in funerary art. However, it will be reinterpreted and will re-emerge at the time of disarmament . Once the shells have been removed and surfaces washed and  swept, the first millimeters of cement will be removed, bringing to light the white inert material that will help to lighten the gray color of the cement, lightening the impact of the whole facade. Some marbles from the existing family tomb will be reused in the new newstand.
